RootsMagic is powerful genealogy software—but its built-in reporting only scratches the surface. Researchers who wanted to query sources, citations, webtags, and media had no good options. They were stuck exporting to CSV and wrangling spreadsheets.
The Solution
GenQuery was built to solve that problem precisely—no more, no less. By leveraging Nushell's data-centric shell and RootsMagic's SQLite backend, GenQuery provides a flexible, powerful reporting engine that works the way genealogists actually think about data.
